Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.
Students participating in the district-provided summer learning programs will need to bring their Chromebooks with them each day.

Dear Elsa England Families,
As we approach the end of the year, we want to share important information regarding RRISD student devices.
Summer Device Guidelines
All students (Pre-K through 5th Grade) will take home their RRISD-assigned Chromebooks and chargers for the summer.
Students will retain access to their Classlink Accounts, including all digital resources used during the year and our library’s extensive collection of digital books and research tools.
Staying in RRISD: Students keep their current device and bring it with them to their 2026-2027 school (including those transferring within the district).
Leaving RRISD: If your student is not returning to an RRISD school next year, the device and charger must be returned.
Instructions for Withdrawing Students
If your student is leaving the district, please notify their teacher as soon as possible.
On the Last Day of School: Ensure the labeled Chromebook and charger are placed in the classroom charging cart by 8:00 AM.
Double Check: Please check your student’s backpack on the last day to ensure the device was not accidentally brought home.
Late Returns (at Elsa England): We will collect labeled devices in the main office until 12:00 PM on Friday, May 22nd.
Late Returns (after May 22nd): Please return devices directly to the RRISD Technology Center (7700 Cornerwood Drive, Austin, TX 78717). You can reach them at 512-464-5160; please check their website for summer hours of operation (https://www.roundrockisd.org/page/technology-and-information-services).
